Mosaic Trainings

EMDR taught from a culturally responsive perspective

Why Mosaic Training

Mosaic Training is dedicated to offering a safe space where all people can show up and feel acknowledged, respected, and validated. We provide a training space specifically for clinicians who identify as Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC), as well as other historically underrepresented persons. We believe that creating this space for learning is essential in order to reach all populations with EMDR, an evidence-based therapy, that can heal the wounds of the past to allow for a brighter future as intended by the creator, Francine Shapiro. Special emphasis will be given to resources centering on the experiences and contributions of BIPOC clinicians, clients, and other related professionals

WHO SHOULD GET TRAINED?

Whether you are a seasoned experienced therapist or a new inexperienced associate therapist, becoming trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) will give you the satisfaction of witnessing true healing and transformation, and in many cases in less time than with other modalities. This is particularly important for those of our clients who may suffer from years or generations of trauma some of which have lost their context and now has become a way of surviving. Allow your clients to live their best life free of invisible boundaries.
